Free to install. Free tier included. Pro subscription available. Works in Chrome and Edge.

How it works

Three steps, no copy-paste.

1

Select text

In an email, a doc, a chat reply — any text field or page. A small button appears next to your selection.

2

Humanize or check

Right-click → "Humanize" or "Check for AI", or click the button. Pick a style: neutral, academic, business, friendly and more.

3

Replace or copy

Replace the selection in place (text fields and editors), or copy the result. Open the side panel for the full editor.

Everything from the website, right where you write

The same humanizer and AI detector as humanizertool.io and aidetectortool.io — as a browser extension.

Inline humanizer

Rewrite selected text so it reads naturally: better flow, tone and readability. 8 styles, 3 lengths, 3 similarity levels.

AI likelihood check

Get an AI probability score and a verdict (likely human / mixed / likely AI) with suspicious sentences highlighted.

Replace in place

Works in text fields, comment boxes and rich-text editors. Where in-place replace isn't possible (e.g. Google Docs), copy with one click.

60+ output languages

Keep the original language or translate while humanizing. Interface in 9 languages.

Side panel editor

Paste longer text, tune options, compare results and check them for AI — without leaving the page.

Private by design

Only the text you select is sent, only when you click. No page reading, no browsing history, no stored text.

Writing tools from the KeyAI keyboard

Grammar, paraphrase, translate (28 languages), tone (12), summarize, reply, emojis, Ask AI, email writer and a Library of 87 ready prompts — one right-click away, same as on your phone.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Chrome extension free?

Yes. Installing is free and includes a free tier: 3 humanizations and 10 AI checks per day, plus 5 bonus humanizations on install. Pro adds 50,000 words per month, all styles and longer texts.

What data does the extension send?

Only the text you select or paste, and only when you click Humanize or Check. It never reads your pages, browsing history or anything you didn't select. We do not store your text.

Does it work in Google Docs and Gmail?

Yes. In Gmail, Notion, LinkedIn and most editors you can replace the selection in place. Google Docs draws text on a canvas, so there you copy the result with one click and paste it.

Which languages are supported?

Humanize in 60+ output languages (or keep the original). The extension interface is available in English, Russian, Spanish, Indonesian, Filipino, Hindi, German, French and Romanian.

Does it guarantee my text will pass AI detectors?

No tool can. Humanizer Tool improves readability and tone and estimates AI likelihood so you can review before publishing. Always follow your school's, employer's or platform's policies.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free tier. Signing in (email code) syncs your usage across devices and is required for Pro.

Which permissions does it need and why?

Storage (your settings), context menu, active tab (to act on the page you clicked), side panel and alarms (to refresh your plan). It has no access to your other tabs and no automatic access to any site unless you enable it in the options.

Does it work in Microsoft Edge?

Yes. Edge supports Chrome extensions — install it from the Chrome Web Store.
