The KeyAI iOS app contains no advertising, uses no advertising identifier, sets no advertising cookies, and does not track you across apps or websites. Information we collect


The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

How we use your information


We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

KeyAI iOS App


KeyAI is an AI keyboard and writing assistant for iOS. This section describes what the app collects, how it collects it, what it is used for, and who it is shared with. The app asks for your permission on a dedicated screen, titled "AI Data Processing", before any of your text is sent, and the same disclosure stays available inside the app under Settings → AI Data Processing.

What the app collects, and how

  • The text you submit for AI processing. Collected only when you actively run an AI feature: a keyboard command, or a message you send in the app’s chat. The app does not record what you type at other times.
  • Clipboard text, in one specific case. When you run a keyboard command and the text field you are typing in is empty, the app uses the text on your clipboard as the input instead.
  • A subscription identifier. An anonymous account ID issued by our payments provider, RevenueCat, Inc., sent with each request so that your subscription and free allowance can be applied. It is not your name, your email address, or a device advertising identifier.
  • Basic request context. The platform (iOS), which surface the request came from (app or keyboard), and the app version.

The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, browsing history, or an advertising identifier. iOS does not give a third-party keyboard the contents of password or payment fields, so those never reach us.

How the app uses it

Your text is used for one purpose: producing the result you asked for, and returning it to you. It is not used to build a profile of you, is not sold, is not shared with data brokers, and is not used for advertising. Conversations in the app are stored on your device, not on our servers.

Who it is shared with

To produce a result, your text is transmitted from the app to our servers, and from there to the AI provider that runs the requested feature:

  • OpenAI, L.L.C. — translation, grammar check, synonyms, emojify, smart reply, Ask AI, and AI detection. Privacy Policy
  • Anthropic, PBC — chat, humanize, paraphrase, summarize, email writer, tone change, find synonyms, and custom commands. Privacy Policy
  • RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription and purchase management. Privacy Policy

These providers process the data on our behalf under their commercial terms, which require them to provide the same or equal protection for the data as described in this policy, to use it only to deliver the requested service, and not to use submitted content to train their models.

Retention and deletion

Text submitted for AI processing is used to generate the response and is not retained afterwards. Your chat history and command history live on your device, and deleting them in the app, or deleting the app, removes them. To ask about data associated with your subscription identifier, or to request its deletion, write to humanizertool@proton.me.

Advertising and tracking

The KeyAI iOS app contains no advertising, no advertising SDKs, no analytics or attribution SDKs, and no advertising identifier. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and it shares no data with data brokers.

Log Files (website only)


humanizertool.io follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and Web Beacons (website only)

Like any other website, humanizertool.io uses “cookies”. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Google DoubleClick DART Cookie (website only)

Google is one of a third-party vendor on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to www.website.com and other sites on the internet.
